Robert “Bob” Carman Sr., age 82, passed away on August 5th, 2022, in Newburgh, N.Y., with his daughter by his side. He was born on August 15th, 1939, in Jamaica, Queens.
Bob is predeceased by his wife, Patricia, his mother and father, Theodore L. Carman Sr., and Frances Zaspell Carman. He is survived by his brother, Theodore L. Carman Jr, and his wife, Louise. He is also survived by his Daughter, Pamela Santillo, and her two children, Nicholas and Amanda Santillo. He is also survived by his Son, Robert Carman Jr., his wife, Jeanette, their children, Michael Carman and Cassondra Egan, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
While serving in the United States Navy, he worked on the U.S. Proteus stationed in Scotland that serviced nuclear submarines. He served in the Navy for four years. While in the Navy, Bob met his bride, Patricia, in Scotland and brought her to America.
Bob was a handyman and could make anything he set his mind to fix. He was also a family man and enjoyed spending time with those closest to him. Bob loved his pina Coladas and his snacks. He is finally reunited with his wife, who he missed dearly.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 10th, from 4-6 pm.
