Virginia Sanchez of Newburgh, NY went home to the Lord on Wednesday August 3, 2022. She was 81.
She was born on October 27, 1940 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico to Sever Sanchez and Amparo Burgos.
She is survived by 2 sons: Angelo Rodriguez and William Perez, 3 brothers: Americo Sanchez, Angel Sanchez, and Benjamin Sanchez, 2 sisters: Isabel Sanchez, and Nirma Sanchez. 3 granddaughters: Meyjol Perez, Almy Perez, and Myra Perez, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, her longtime husband Angel Luis Perez. 3 sons: Nelson Perez, Luis Perez, and Jose Perez. 4 brothers: Julio Sanchez, Virgilio Julio Cesar Sanchez, and Edwin Sanchez. 1 sister Felicita Rodriguez.
She will always be remembered for her unique way of being. She will forever be missed by all her family and friends who have many great memories with her. She will forever live in our hearts.
Visitation will be 3-4:30pm on Sunday August 7, 2022 with a chapel service directed by Bishop Juan Rivera at 4:30pm at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte 94) New Windsor, NY. 12553 Burial of ashes will be in Calvary Cemetery New Windsor at a later date.
