A 32 year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle accident in the City of Newburgh on Saturday.
The City of Newburgh Police Department was first dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of South Street and Pierces Road. The driver was found to be unconscious and unresponsive. Mobile Life Support Services responded to the scene and rushed him to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim has not yet been identified pending notification of his family. He was a City of Newburgh resident.
The City of Newburgh Police Department was assisted on the scene by the City of Newburgh Fire Department, New York State Police, and the New Windsor Police Department.
