Police Blotter – 7/15/2022

It is our policy to only print felony arrests. Some misdemeanor arrests may be published if they are of notable interest. All persons listed herein have not yet had their day in court and are innocent until proven guilty in court.

State Police (Troop F):

  • David Bruno, age 45 of Beacon, was arrested on Friday, 7/8/2022 at 11:55am in the City of Newburgh. He was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell in the 3rd degree, a Class B felony; Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a Class C felony; Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia – Scales in the 2nd degree, a Class A misdemeanor; and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to police custody.
  • Jose R. Diaz-Medina, age 37 of East Northport, was arrested on Sunday, 7/10/2022 at 12:15am in the City of Newburgh. He was charged with DWI with 2 previous convictions within 10 years and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% with 2 priors, both Class D felonies; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation with Alcohol 1st degree, a Class E felony; and Circumventing an Interlock – Operator without a Device, a Class A misdemeanor. He was released to a third party.
  • Michael Rodriguez, age 29 of Newburgh, was arrested on Sunday, 7/10/2022 at 4:44am in the City of Newburgh. He was charged with DWI with a previous conviction within 10 years, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% with a prior, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation – Alcohol 1st degree, all Class E felonies. He was released to a third party.
  • Dominic S. Ricottilli, age 30 of Beacon, was arrested on Tuesday, 7/10/2022 at 1:25am in the Town of Newburgh. He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation – Alcohol 1st degree, a Class E felony; DWI 1st offense and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .08% first offense, both misdemeanors. He was released to a third party.
