New Windsor Holds Bicycle Rodeo

The New Windsor Recreation Department in conjunction with the New Windsor Police Department held a free bicycle rodeo for the public yesterday.

Many children turned out at the Kristi Babcock Memorial Park on Mount Airy Road to participate in the event, which included bicycle safety tips and an obstacle course. Officers worked one-on-one with the youth to teach them how to safely ride their bicycles.

The event was sponsored by the New Windsor Police Benevolent Association, Alfi’s Uniforms, and Orange County Stop DWI.
