The Orange County Fair will feature an expanded amphitheater concert lineup this year, representatives announced today. Nightly concerts will span genres and feature national tribute acts.
From classic rock to Spanish music to Christian rock headliners, the 2022 Orange County Fair music lineup will appeal to all musical tastes. The Barn Amphitheatre stage was a new venue on the fairgrounds in 2021. After a successful three weekends of live music, the fair team is excited to present some fan favorites and brand new performers for the 182nd year of the fair.
All concerts at the Barn Amphitheatre are free with fair admission. Upgraded VIP tickets allow separate access to the bar as well as a sectioned off viewing area not open to the public.
Opening weekend will feature tribute bands honoring Prince, Van Halen, and Guns N Roses. The weekend ends with Christian Rock headliner Building 429.
The second weekend, July 21 – 24, will feature the music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, AC/DC, and Pink Floyd.
On Sunday, July 24, Lucha Libre wrestling will appear as a new feature this year.
The musical lineup will close out with original music from Abby K as well as the Rock Fantasy 36th Anniversary concert featuring Eyes of the Nile: an Iron Maiden tribute band, along with very special guests Chris Caffery from Trans Siberian Orchestra and Last Pharaoh.
Saturday night fairgoers will hear the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd. The fair closes on Sunday, July 31st with a family night of Spanish music.
Concerts will begin at 8pm Thursdays-Saturdays and 7pm on Sundays.
