Cornwall Town Pool Opens Following Repairs

Just in time for the latest round of heat, the Town of Cornwall has opened their public pool, Town Supervisor Joshua Wojehowski announced yesterday.

Wojehowski wished to thank the town employees, the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Water Department, and all contractors involved, who all made repairs to the pool and prepared it to open.

The Town is attempting to keep the pool open to Labor Day. However, doing so requires lifeguards. The Town is still in the process of recruiting lifeguards who are able to work through the first week of September.

The community pool is located near the Town Hall and the Town Little League Field on Main Street. It is open daily from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. The adjacent wading pool, available for youngsters ages 5 and under, is open daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Registration passes must be purchased in order to use the pool. Town residents receive a discounted rate, but non-residents can also purchase a pass. Those interested can find the registration forms here.
