The Cornwall Independence Day Committee has released the schedule for this year’s day of hometown fun for the entire family. They are also seeking volunteers to help for a few hours.
The full day of activities will begin bright and early on July 4, 2022, with breakfast being served at the Highland Engine Company from 7:00am to 11:00am. A parade will step off on Main Street at 5:00pm. The well-known fireworks show will begin at 9:30pm.
Multiple activities will be held throughout the day, including a pie eating contest, a duck derby, and much more. See the full schedule below.
The celebration cannot happen without volunteers from the community. The committee is seeking help filling short shifts, many of which are only two hours. Volunteers can select the time and task they wish to perform. This is also an opportunity for Cornwall High School students who need volunteer hours.
