The Gardnertown Elementary School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District held a moving up ceremony for their pre-K students on Thursday. The students took the next step and now move up to Kindergarten.
The day saw two separate ceremonies take place for Mrs. Lawler’s and Ms. Ruggeiro’s classes. Families gathered in the school gymnasium to watch their children sing and receive their diplomas.
The ceremonies concluded with families and students hugging each other, followed by lots of pictures.
