New Windsor School Young Scientists Create Electric Circuits

Students from the New Windsor School’s Science Club recently learned about electric circuits and created greeting cards with lights, similar to those purchased in stores.

Last Wednesday, the young scientists created closed circuits with functioning lights and installed them into the cards. The students added switches so that the lights can be turned on and off when the cards are opened or closed.

The students enjoyed creating birthday cards for friends, holiday cards, and even Harry Potter themed cards.
