Horizons-on-the Hudson Elementary School in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District held its annual Field Day on school grounds on Friday.
The day was open to parents and guardians to attend as they watched their children participate in relay races, tire races, water games, and tug-of-war. Some parents and teachers could not resist jumping into the tug-of-war matches.
The day was filled with smiles, laughter and dance moves as the DJ kept the music playing on a sunny day. The shade, snow cones and water being served were the only ways for participants to keep cool.
