City of Newburgh Mayor Torrance Harvey visited with New Windsor School students who participate in the My Brother’s Keeper / My Sister’s Keeper program last week.
Harvey spoke to the students about his responsibilities as a mayor. He shared some background of how he became the mayor as well as his hopes for the City of Newburgh.
The mayor was thoughtful and brought signed certificates to present to each student. The students were excited to listen to Harvey’s soon-to-be published children’s book.
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District reported that the students enjoyed their time with Harvey and look forward to seeing his new book in person soon.
