The Town of Cornwall and the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson will observe Memorial Day on Monday.
At 10:00am, the Town and Village will hold the annual parade, which is sponsored by the Cornwall VFW. The parade will begin on Hudson Street at Payson Road in the Village, continue on Main Street, and loop back to Veteran’s Way across from the Town Hall for a ceremony.
There will be no parking on both sides of Hudson Street from Payson Road to First Street from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Village and Town offices will be closed. There will be no trash or recycling pickups. Trash and solid waste pickup will be postponed to Thursday, June 2. Recycling will be postponed until the following week – June 6, 2022.
