New Windsor police officers visited Vails Gate School on Friday in celebration of National Police Week. All week long, police officers have been visiting schools throughout the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.
New Windsor Police Officer Lubarsky and Detective Wicker visited the elementary school students during lunchtime. During their visit, they spoke with the young students and answered their questions.
The officers also presented awards to three of the students who participated in the District-wide math meet. The three students won first, second and third place in the meet.
