Mariah Bleu Mejias, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was 24.
Daughter of Samuel Mejias and Kellyanne (Cavanaugh) Mazei, she was born on October 27, 1997 in Newburgh, NY.
Mariah, a lifelong area resident, attended Valley Central and Beacon High School.
She loved her daughter dearly, and enjoyed fashion, music and dancing. Mariah, a true diva, was funny, spunky and loved to make people smile.
In addition to her parents, both of Newburgh, she is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Lee Scianna, grandparents, Fernando Mejias, Jr., Norma Lopez DeVictoria, and Trevor and Barbara Blackett, two brothers, Steven Crisci of Hollywood FL and Samuel Gage Mejias of Newburgh; two sisters, Angela Crisci of Poughkeepsie and Savannah Kniffin of Washingtonville, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Cross Roads Assembly of God Church, 7 D’Alfonso Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.
A Service will follow at 5:00 pm, at the church, with Pastor Manny Montalvo officiating.
In lieu of flowers, do a kind act for someone, “pay it forward” in Mariah’s memory.
