Macaroni the Clown visited New Windsor School this week as a reward to students for showing positive behaviors.
The second trimester Gold Card activity was part of the school’s Positive Behavior Program. Students who followed the expectations of being respectful, responsible, ready, and safe earned an invitation to the event. The program is designed to reward appropriate behaviors in the school.
The students had a blast with the legendary local clown.
School psychologist Kelly Caci and music teacher Mary Petruncola oversee the program. According to the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, both employees are thrilled with the number of students making the right choices.
