Jennie Restuccia, 88, passed away in her home on March 20, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Jennie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Jennie was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Jennie and William Wieber. She met and fell in love with her husband, Philip Restuccia, and together they had 7 sons. They were happily married for 40 years before Philip’s passing in 1995. Although Jennie and her husband were always moving in the beginning of their marriage, they always had a loving home and in 1972 they settled in New Windsor, NY and raised their family as well as all the friends of her sons that she welcomed into her home over the years. Everybody called Jennie “mom”.
Everyone was family to her, and family meant everything. Jennie was a homemaker and took pride in having a beautiful and loving home for her family. She loved to cook and have family gatherings, always hosting all the holidays with everyone’s favorite dishes. When you walked into her house, she sat you down and fed you, so you never left hungry.
Jennie is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Lori, William, Philip, Matthew, James and his wife Lisa, and Joseph and his partner Melissa; grandchildren Philip, Michael, Lisa, Jenna, David, Jennie, Stephanie, Christopher, and Alex; and great grandchildren Joel, Harper, Henry, Isabella, Clementine, Elsie, and Brayden. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Restuccia, her son Mark P. Restuccia, her brothers Walter Wieber, Michael “Tippy Wieber, John Wieber, and her grandson Brian M Restuccia.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday March 27, 2022 from 2- 5 p.m. A Mass will be held at at 10 a.m. on Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
