Navy veteran, loving husband, and father. It is with deep sadness that the family of Thomas A. Kelly, Jr. announces his passing on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Tom was 74 years old and was born In Manhattan, NY. He was the son of Sally Pfingst (Kelly) and Thomas A. Kelly Sr.
Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Concetta T. Kelly, his son Brian E. Kelly and daughter Tara Catherine Lotocke and husband Matthew Lotocke. In addition, Tom leaves cousins and friends whom he loved very much.
Tom was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School. He served in the Navy and continued on with the Navy Reserves. Tom also retired from West Point as a computer analyst. Tom was a strong peaceful man that loved his family more than anything in life. He enjoyed reading, feeding the birds, and fishing with his buddies. “You Have Sorrow Now but I Will See You Again” John 16:22
Friends and Family are welcome to celebrate Tom’s life on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4pm-6pm at Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh. A mass will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10am at St. John the Evangelist in Goshen, NY. Burial following in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
