Police Blotter – 3/12/2022

It is our policy to only print felony arrests. Some misdemeanor arrests may be published if they are of notable interest. All persons listed herein have not yet had their day in court and are innocent until proven guilty in court.

State Police Troop F:

  • Daniel Zambrana, age 32 of Cornwall, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 1:59am on 3/6/2022. He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (Alcohol) 1st degree, a class E felony; Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor; DWI 1st Offense, a misdemeanor; and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC over .08% 1st Offense, a misdemanor. He was released pending court.
  • Carrington S. McDonald, age 35 of Poughkeepsie, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 4:58am on 3/6/2022. He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (Alcohol) 1st degree, a Class E felony; and DWI 1st Offense, a misdemeanor. He was released pending court.
  • Darwin R. Barba, age 29 of Newburgh, was arrested in the City of Newburgh at 3:25am on 3/12/2022. He was charged with DWI with Previous Conviction in 10 Years, a class E felony; and Operating a Motor Vehice with a BAC Over .08% with a Prior Offense, a class E felony. He was released pending court.

State Police Troop T (Thruway):

  • Darrell Wilson, age 34 of Albany, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 1:21am on 3/10/2022. He was charged with DWI with Previous Conviction in 10 years, a Class E felony; and Aggravated DWI, a Class E felony. He was issued an appearance ticket pending court.
  • Niko Soto, age 27 of New Paltz, was arrested in the Town of Newburgh at 1:08am on 3/11/2022. He was charged with Criminal Possession of Narcotic Drugs 4th degree, a class C felony; and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Class A misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket pending court.
